The area by the Ridgewood Train Station had been severely neglected for many years. Over the past several years the Conservancy has worked to transform the area into a colorful parkland, creating a visual impact in the heart of our Village. To date we have planted dozens of flowering trees, burning bushes along the platform, and a large selection of flowering shrubs, daylilies and spring bulbs.

Recent enhancements include the creation of a sitting area with new benches, two large ornamental planters, two magnificent evergreens which bring a visual to the garden site , and several shrubs and pollinator perennials to highlight this welcoming new space!
